Declaration Officer and Consolidation Officer at GNM Gargo LTD

GNM Cargo Ltd We are looking for an experienced candidates to fill the following vacancies in Dar es salaam;

• DECLARATION OFFICER

• CONSOLIDATION OFFICER

DECLARATION OFFICER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Examine, Confirm and re-confirm and ensure the Import HS codes and incoterms are accurate applied before lodging the documents to TANCIS and SINGLE WINDOW system accordingly.
2. Receive and file all required Import documentations for declaration process.
3. Ensure taxes payables have been captured correctly before accepting the taxes/duties before print the assessment for payments.
4. Compare and ensure manifested details tally with the shipping documents.
5. Application of permit from the differences institutions like TBS, GCLA etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. At least a Certificate of Clearing and Forwarding.
2. A Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the same capacity.
3. Excellent knowledge of different customs online systems in East Africa such as TANCIS and SINGLE WINDOW systems etc. 
4. Applicants must be Citizens of Tanzania with an age of 20 years and not above 40 years.
5. Must have knowledge of government procedures relating to Transit, imports & exports knowledge of customs laws pertaining to Tanzania.
6. Working with people of different nature and culture (team player).

CONSOLIDATION OFFICER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Creating and preparing Customer packing List.
2. Preparing Manifest and lodging to the TRA system and Cargo System (TPA) etc.
3. Experience of using TANCIS and SINGLE WINDOW SYSTEM, TRA system and Cargo System (TPA) etc.
4. Preparing Delivery Order (DO) and House BL.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. At least certificate of Shipping, Logistic, Clearing and Forwarding and another related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the consolidation activities.
3. Applicants must be Citizens of Tanzania with an age of 20 years and not above 40 years.
4. Excellent knowledge of different customs online systems in East Africa such as TANCIS, single window systems, TRA system and Cargo system etc.
