Role Overview

Coca-Cola Kwanza Ltd is seeking experienced Distribution Drivers to support primary and secondary beverage distribution across Dar es Salaam and Mbeya. The position involves hauling bulk stock between manufacturing plants and distribution hubs, managing direct customer deliveries, handling daily cash collections, supervising truck crews, and operating vehicle tracking and mobile technology in full compliance with traffic and safety regulations. Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Primary & Secondary Distribution: Transport bulk stock between plants, distribution centers, local distribution partners, and OCCDs; deliver direct orders to customers.

• Cash & Document Settlement: Collect payment from customers, ensure full cash banking without shortages, and accurately process delivery invoices, load settlements, and stock counts.

• Asset & Crew Accountability: Maintain full responsibility for allocated trucks, stock, pallets, and mobile devices, while managing and supervising the truck crew.

• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to Tanzanian road traffic laws, company security protocols, and safety standards to maintain a zero-fatality environment.

• Vehicle Maintenance & Tech Usage: Perform basic mechanical checks to ensure vehicle safety, and operate onboard systems including satellite tracking, cab cameras, and handheld mobile devices.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Form IV Secondary Education Certificate.

• Vocational Training: VETA Driving Certificate.

• Licensing: Valid and applicable driving license with at least 3 years of active validity.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of driving experience with a clean driving record, including prior distribution driving experience with a haulier.

• Technical & Core Skills: Understanding of route optimization systems, distribution/warehouse logistics, vehicle maintenance, and mobile device operation.

• Working Conditions: Willingness to work fixed shifts, specific day/night schedules, and maintain high standards of customer service.
