Key Accountabilities:
- Execute AML’s 2025–2030 strategy and deliver sustainable profitability.
- Strengthen credit quality, portfolio monitoring, collections, and recovery.
- Diversify funding and improve systems, technology, and operational efficiency.
- Build a high-performing leadership team and a strong culture of accountability.
- Maintain strong relationships with the Board, regulators, investors, lenders, and customers.
Candidate Profile:
Experience: At least 15 years in banking, non-bank finance, SME finance, microfinance, development finance, or a related field (including senior executive leadership).
Track Record: Proven success in delivering growth, transformation, and sustainable profitability with strong knowledge of SME credit and portfolio-quality management.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s, MBA, or relevant professional qualification is an added advantage.
Market Expertise: Experience in Tanzania or a comparable African market is desirable.
