Role Overview & Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership: Prepare, implement, and monitor strategic/business plans and annual budgets; ensure agency services meet institutional standards and statutory requirements.

Financial & Resource Management: Manage agency resources efficiently, set user fees for cost recovery and development margins, negotiate for external resource mobilization, and prepare annual reports and audited financial statements per the Public Finance Act.

Governance & Regulatory Compliance: Implement Governing Board decisions, enforce agency bylaws, and maintain alignment with national policies and legal frameworks.

Academic & Training Delivery: Facilitate academic learning (teaching), continuously review organizational structures to match sector training needs, and foster strong relations with the parent ministry, government bodies, and education sector stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements

Academic Rank: Must hold academic credentials at the rank of at least Senior Lecturer (or be eligible for re-categorization as Senior Lecturer for Higher Learning Technical/Vocational Institutions) or Principal Tutor / Principal Instructor or above. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at TASUBA
