Description

We are looking for a Tanzanian bookkeeper, Swahili and English-speaking, with excellent computer skills and preferably experience in a tour operating company. If you have minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position, an eye for detail and if you are a team player yet also able to work individually, read on >

Your responsibilities:

Authorize payment requests & keep cash book
Send POP’s to suppliers
Collect TRA receipts from suppliers
File receipts for each payment physically & on-line
Do trip accounts & reconciliation
File all documents & forward to management
Other duties as outlined by the management

Who are we looking for?

You have a qualification in Accountancy Studies
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position preferably in the Tanzanian safari industry
Efficient and accurate in your work
You are a team-player but at the same time you are able to work individually and remote
Excellent communication skills, Swahili and English-speaking
Your computer skills are up to date, including Word, Excel, working in the cloud
Good numerical skills
