Company Overview

Bagamoyo Sugar Limited is seeking two (2) highly skilled and experienced Auto Electricians cum A/C Technicians to join our fleet maintenance team in Bagamoyo. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing both the electrical systems and air conditioning units across our industrial vehicles, tractors, and plant machinery.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• A/C System Maintenance: Repair, service, and perform routine preventive maintenance on air conditioning systems across all company vehicles and machinery.

• Electrical Diagnostics: Trouble-shoot, diagnose, and repair complex electrical faults in vehicles and heavy equipment.

• Component Installation: Install and configure auxiliary electrical parts including heavy-duty lights, batteries, wiring systems, and GPS tracking equipment.

• Routine Servicing: Carry out planned preventive maintenance on core auto-electrical systems, including alternators, starter motors, and battery health checks.

• Diagram Interpretation: Read, analyze, and accurately interpret automotive electrical circuit diagrams to ensure precise troubleshooting.

• General Tasks: Execute any other related duties as assigned by the engineering and fleet management teams.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Education: Holder of a Diploma or Level III Certificate in Auto Electrical Engineering, or Motor Vehicle A/C Repair (Level I, II, or III) from a recognized institution (e.g., VETA).

• Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of proven, hands-on working experience in automotive electrical and A/C systems.

• Technical Skills: Competency in reading electrical schematics, utilizing automotive diagnostic tools, and managing preventive service schedules.
