About the Role
We are looking for qualified, experienced and motivated individuals to join our team in the following position: Assistant Workshop Manager – 2 Positions
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the workshop manager in supervising and coordinating daily workshop activities.
- Plana and monitor vehicles servicing, maintainance, and repair activities.
- Supervise mechanics and workshop staff to ensure work is completed efficiently and safely
- Diagnose mechanical faults and assist in determining appropriate repair procedures.
- Ensure vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and serviced according to schedules.
- Monitor the use of workshop tools, equipment, spare parts, and materials
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures within the workshop
- Prepare and maintain maintainance and repairs records
- Monitor the quality of work and ensure repairs meet required standards
- Assist in managing workshop productivity and controlling maintainance costs.
- Perfom any duties assigned by the workshop Manager
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- proven experience in vehicle maintainance and workshop operations
- Experience working with heavy – duty trucks will be an added advantages
- Good leadership, supervisory, and problem solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
