Position Overview
The Asset Manager is primarily responsible for the management and maintenance of the company’s fixed assets, ensuring efficient asset utilization, minimizing loss risks, and enhancing asset management efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Asset Registration & Classification:
- Receive, register, and categorize assets; establish and maintain a comprehensive fixed asset ledger.
Daily Asset Management:
- Conduct regular asset inventories to ensure physical inventory matches book records, handle asset transfers, disposals, repairs, and maintenance.
- Asset Data Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze asset data to support management decision-making.
- Training & Guidance: Provide training on asset management policies to departments; promote company-wide asset management awareness.
Competencies
Qualifications and Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related field.
Professional Knowledge
- Proficient in financial accounting principles and relevant national policies/regulations.
Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in office software (e.g., Excel, Word); basic data analysis capabilities.
Communication:
- Strong coordination and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Accountability:
- Detail-oriented with strong execution ability and resilience under pressure.
Personal Attributes and Meticulousness:
- Precision in asset management to prevent losses due to oversight.
Organizational Skills:
- Ability to efficiently plan and execute asset inventories, transfers, etc.
Learning Agility:
- Continuously update knowledge and skills in asset management to meet evolving business needs.
Additional Requirements
- Compliance Awareness: Strictly adhere to company policies and ensure legal/regulatory compliance in asset management.
- Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive asset-related information.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of asset management experience; familiarity with corporate asset management workflows. Ability to speak basic Chinese is a preferred.
