Role Overview

Hakadosh Company Limited is seeking a strategic and technical AGM / DGM – Irrigation Manager (1 position) on behalf of a client in the agricultural sector. In this senior leadership role, you will head the estate-wide irrigation department, directing the installation, commissioning, and operational management of center pivot systems, bulk raw water pipelines, intake structures, reservoirs, and pump stations.

Key Responsibilities

• Pivot Installation & Commissioning: Plan, oversee, and certify the mechanical/electrical assembly, foundation casting, and testing of center pivot systems.

• Bulk Water Infrastructure: Direct the construction and hydraulic validation of bulk raw water pipelines, ensuring seamless integration with land development activities.

• Pumping & Intake Systems: Oversee civil, mechanical, and electrical works for water intake facilities, storage reservoirs, and river pump stations.

• Consultant & Contractor Management: Manage external consultants, contractors, and suppliers; evaluate GAD and P&ID drawings; and resolve technical challenges (e.g., surge protection, filtration system design).

• Operational Strategy & Scheduling: Establish estate-wide irrigation schedules, water delivery protocols, pump operation standards, and precise water application tracking.

• Team Leadership & Maintenance: Build, lead, and mentor the irrigation engineering and operations team while establishing preventive maintenance frameworks for all equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) or Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Agricultural, Irrigation, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.

• Experience: 12 to 18 years of progressive experience in large-scale agricultural irrigation projects, with direct expertise in center pivots, high-capacity pump stations, and bulk pipeline networks.

• Core Competencies: Extensive experience managing EPC contractors/suppliers, deep hydraulic engineering knowledge, and proven ability to set up estate-wide irrigation operations.
