About the Role

West Security Services is seeking a meticulous and reliable Accountant to oversee daily financial activities, ensure accurate bookkeeping, maintain regulatory compliance, and support effective financial reporting across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Records: Maintain accurate books of accounts and daily financial transactions.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

• Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and timely collection processes.

• Cash Flow & Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and monitor company cash flow.

• Documentation: Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and supporting financial paperwork.

• Budgeting & Audits: Monitor budgets, track expenditures, and support both internal and external audits.

• Payroll & Taxes: Assist with payroll processing, handle statutory deductions, and ensure timely tax filings and tax compliance.

• Record Keeping: Ensure full confidentiality and proper filing of all organizational financial records.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.

• Professional Qualifications: CPA(T), ACCA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification is an added advantage.

• Experience: Relevant practical experience in accounting or finance operations.

• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, accounting software, and Microsoft Excel.

• Core Competencies: Exceptional numerical, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.

• Key Attributes: Strong integrity, ability to meet deadlines, and capacity to work independently or within a team.
