About the Role

Absa Bank Tanzania is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Lead Generator to join our team in Dar es Salaam. This position provides operational and sales support by identifying target customers, presenting product features, ensuring strict documentation compliance, and gathering field market intelligence to support retail banking growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Acquisition & Onboarding: Engage potential clients to present Absa product offerings and guide them through document requirements.

• Document Verification & Safe Custody: Collect, certify, and maintain strict safe custody of all customer documentation and confidential information in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Pipeline Management: Hand off complete customer files to the Sales Manager for pre-submission checks and communicate application outcomes directly to clients.

• Market Intelligence: Collect field-level competitor data and market insights to advise sales leadership on product improvement opportunities.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum of a Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in Business, Commerce, Management Studies, or a related field.

• Solid understanding of retail banking products and KYC document requirements.

• High standard of personal integrity, organizational ability, and customer relationship management skills.
