1. EXECUTIVE CHEF 

JOB DESCRIPTION 

This is a full-time role for an Executive Chef. The Executive Chef will be responsible for planning, directing, cooking and  managing the culinary vision and day-to-day operations of the Kitchen. The Executive Chef will be responsible for  curating menus, quality control and food cost control. The Executive Chef will be in charge of team and responsible for  training the team up to standard. The successful candidate will also ensure that all food safety regulations are met and  maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in the kitchen. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIE

  1. a) Management of Food Production Function: Oversee the entire food production function within the place. b) Culinary Leadership: Be accountable for all culinary activities at the place, ensuring innovation and creativity in cuisine
  2. c) Menu Planning and Budgeting: Plan menus, oversee product purchasing, and provide budgetary guidelines for the culinary department.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

The ideal candidate for this role should have 

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end hospitality setting at least  4 years and above. 
  • Certificate or diploma equivalent qualification. 
  • Strong leadership and management skills. 
  • Creativity and innovation in menu planning and presentation 
  • Excellent knowledge of culinary trends and local ingredients 
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and service 
  • Effective communication and team-building skills. 
  • Proficiency in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  1. CHEF

JOB DESCRIPTION 

A Chef is responsible for using their culinary expertise to create appetizing dishes for diners to enjoy. A chef is also  responsible in overseeing kitchen staff, tasting dishes before being served and restocking food produce as needed. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  1. a) Collaborate closely with the executive chef to develop and execute food and drink menus b) Ensure the production of high-quality plates that excel in both presentation and taste
  2. c) Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  3. d) Assist in menu planning, inventory management, and ordering supplies
  4. e) Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety regulations in all kitchen areas
  5. f) Monitor and upkeep kitchen equipment for optimal functionality

QUALIFICATION

  1. COOK

JOB DESCRIPTION 

A Cook is a kitchen worker who is responsible for preparing food items and menu items in accordance with company  standards and guidelines. They are responsible for the preparation of food for given individuals. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  1. a) To prepare food/meals as directed;
  2. b) Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
  3. c) To clean kitchen and the surrounding areas; and take care of kitchen utensils
  4. d) Preparing ingredients to use in cooking

QUALIFICATION 

The ideal candidate for this role should have 

  • Holder of a form IV/VI Education with a certificate in the Food Production or Cookery from recognized Institute.
  • Proven experience as a Cook or similar role in a busy kitchen setting at least 1 year and above
  1. PASTRY CHEF

JOB DESCRIPTION 

A Pastry Chef bakes various desserts in a kitchen. Their main duties include following recipes to create pastries, cookies  and other baked goods, developing new and unique recipes to feature on the menu and keeping stock of the kitchen’s  inventory. As a Pastry Chef, you are responsible for operating the pastry section of the kitchen while working closely  with the Executive Chef and Chef. A Pastry Chef will also be required to plan production and develop seasonal offerings. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  1. a) Operate and manage all day-to-day operations of the pastry and bakery section of a kitchen, working together with other chefs.
  2. b) Prepare a variety of baked goods and be able to develop, designs, or creates new ideas and items for Pastry Kitchen
  3. c) Decorate and present pastries and baked goods in a tasteful and beautiful way
  4. d) Monitor and order ingredients, supplies and equipment
  5. e) Ensure the bakery section of the kitchen adheres to health and safety regulations

QUALIFICATIONS: 

The ideal candidate for this role should have 

  • Good knowledge of different types of pastry, dessert, cake decorating.
  • Possess professional disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High school certificate or 3 years’ experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area. 
  1. NUTRITIONIST

JOB DESCRIPTION 

A Nutritionist is responsible in counseling people on nutrition issues and healthy eating habits A Nutritionist will create  meal plans according to diet restrictions and requirements of the given working environments of the people. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  1. a) Counsel on diet issues and healthy eating habits
  2. b) Develop nutrition plans while taking into working environments ,budget and tastes
  3. c) Assess health needs of the given place
  4. d) Evaluate if the meal plans have positive impacts on the people
  5. e) Translate nutrition science into understandable, practical eating advice

QUALIFICATIONS: 

The ideal candidate for this role should have 

  • Diploma/Bachelor degree in Nutrition/ Human Nutrition.
  • Possess professional disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • At least have a working experience of 3 years ‘on the same field
  1. HOUSEKEEPING PERSONNEL

JOB DESCRIPTION 

A Housekeeping personnel is responsible for cleaning and organizing the house. Housekeeping personnel will be  responsible in cleaning inside and outside of the house. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  1. a) Perform cleaning duties in all areas and back of house.
  2. b) Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed
  3. c) Develop weekly task list/house duties and undertake or delegate tasks as appropriate
  4. d) Reports necessary maintenance items.
  5. e) Follows all safety and sanitation policies
  6. f) Clean and quality control of all internal rooms and spaces, external rooms and ancillary areas including service quarters, porch, entryway and outside bathrooms.
  7. g) Requisition of consumables and cleaning supplies and manage stocks and usage.
  8. h) Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing and arranging the towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting and rearranging the room.

  1. LAUNDY AND DRY-CLEANING PERSONNEL

JOB DESCRIPTION 

As Laundry and dry-cleaning personnel, you are responsible to ensure that laundry services, required is met on time  and with the highest possible standards. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  1. a) Ensure consistent supply of clean, neat and quality clothes
  2. b) Perform laundry activities according to health standards department
  3. c) Ensure laundry equipment and facility are in best operating condition
  4. d) Perform laundry functions in complete compliance with OSHA guidelines and requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: 

The ideal candidate for this role should have 

  • An Ordinary/Advanced Level Certificate of Education.
  • Well-organized, credible, hardworking, interactive, flexible, adaptable and self-driven personality.
  • Experience Minimum 3 years of Laundry and dry-cleaning operations experience
