Position Overview

Blue Recruits is seeking an energetic, highly creative, and confident Content Creator to join our team in Magomeni Mapipa, Dar es Salaam. This entry-level role is designed for a self-motivated individual who understands social media trends and excels at digital storytelling. The Content Creator will conceive, produce, and publish engaging multi-format content (written, visual, and video) across digital channels to strengthen our brand identity and engage our audience.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Content Creation & Production:

  • Develop, write, and produce original multimedia content tailored to Blue Recruits’ target audience across social media platforms.

  • Create high-quality visual assets, short-form video clips, copy, and graphics following company brand guidelines.

  • Script, film, and feature in social media videos, bringing energy and a vibrant personality to on-camera appearances.

• Social Media Strategy & Publishing:

  • Manage and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter), and digital media portals.

  • Optimize post copy, hashtags, scheduling, and formatting for maximum audience reach and engagement.

  • Monitor social media trends, viral formats, and platform updates to keep brand messaging fresh and relevant.

• Brand Collaboration & Project Execution:

  • Coordinate with internal teams to align creative content with broader organizational marketing and recruitment goals.

  • Track basic post performance metrics and adjust creative approaches to maximize engagement.

  • Manage multiple content schedules and creative projects simultaneously.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience & Background:

  • No prior formal work experience required—fresh graduates and creative individuals with a strong personal portfolio are welcome to apply.

  • Demonstrable understanding of how major social media algorithms and formats operate (Reels, TikToks, LinkedIn posts, etc.).

• Key Skills & Personality:

  • Personality: Extremely confident, outgoing, and bubbly personality with strong enthusiasm for on-camera presentation and brand representation.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

  • Technical Proficiency: IT savvy with practical familiarity in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite), video editing software/apps (e.g., CapCut), and digital content platforms.

  • Self-Management: Highly organized, proactive, and capable of handling creative deadlines independently.
