Job Purpose

The Zonal Relationship Executive leads zone-level sales execution and builds a high-performing field sales structure for Alternative Channels products, including VodaBima Group Life Cover, Rafiki Group Life, and Group Funeral Cover. The role recruits and manages Unit Managers, ensures team productivity, and meets targets through disciplined field execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Development: Prospect and close group sales, managing client onboarding and activation across the assigned zone.

• Client Retention: Service existing corporate and group clients while driving timely contract renewals.

• Team Leadership & Recruitment: Recruit, train, and manage Unit Managers and field sales teams to maintain consistent sales productivity.

• Compliance & KYC: Ensure complete, accurate KYC documentation for all onboarded clients and regulatory compliance.

• Reporting & Governance: Submit disciplined weekly/monthly operational and performance reports to the Zonal Relationship Officer (ZRO).

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in any field from a recognized institution.

• Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of sales experience (field sales, agency management, banking, or microfinance experience is a strong advantage).

• Certifications: Possession of a Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in insurance is an added advantage.

• Core Competencies: Target-driven mindset, high integrity, excellent communication skills, and strong team leadership capabilities.
