Overview & Purpose
- Qatar Charity Tanzania is seeking proposals from qualified, legally registered law firms in Tanzania to provide comprehensive legal services on a retainer basis. The scope covers:
- Legal Advisory & Governance: Continuous legal counsel, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and updates on legislative changes in Tanzania.
- Contract & Lease Management: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating employment, procurement, partnership, and property lease agreements.
- Property Due Diligence: Verification of land titles, property ownership, and handling real estate transactions or disputes.
- Litigation & Dispute Resolution: Representing the organization in court, labor disputes, administrative proceedings, and alternative dispute resolution (mediation/arbitration).
Key Submission Requirements
Structure: Submit via email to [email protected] with a main folder named after your firm containing two subfolders: “Technical File” and “Financial File“.
Technical Folder: Signed tender booklet, BRELLA certificate, TIN/VAT card, Tax Clearance, 3-year audited financials, firm profile (4+ years experience), CVs & TLS practicing certificates of assigned legal team, 3 client references, signed Annex A (Commitment Certificate), and a detailed work plan/methodology.
Financial Folder: Signed Annex C/C-1 with proposed Monthly Retainer Fee in TZS, out-of-scope fee rates (hourly/fixed), and an editable Excel version of the financial proposal.
Validity: Bids must remain valid for at least 90 days from the closing date.
