Introduction:

Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) is a semi-autonomous agency under the Ministry of Works. Established on July 1, 2000, TANROADS is responsible for road safety, environmental measures, and strategic road sector policies. The Regional Manager, TANROADS-Tanga, on behalf of the Chief Executive, invites qualified Tanzanians to apply for vacancies for the Supervision of Mafuleta – Kileguru Road Project (30KM).

Position Title: Works Inspector – Drainage and Structure (1 Post)

Educational/Professional Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Registered with ERB as a Graduate/Professional Engineer.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in drainage and structure design or construction.
• Fluent in English and a Tanzanian citizen.
• Tanzania career opportunities

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise drainage works and maintain related records.
• Measure quantities of completed works daily.
  Submit progress reports with updated costs.
  Maintain a site diary.
  Perform other duties as required.
