Are you an experienced professional in warehouse management looking for an exciting opportunity in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to join our team.

Location: Dar es Salaam

Job Description:

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the warehouse. Your primary goal will be to ensure the efficient and effective management of our inventory, the smooth flow of goods, and the optimization of warehouse resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate inventory management and maintain optimal stock levels.
• Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols.
• Monitor and improve warehouse processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Maintaining high standards of quality control and ensuring goods are stored and handled appropriately.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Maintain records and prepare reports on warehouse activities.
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
• Responsible for all warehouse government compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics Management, Procurement, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in warehouse supervision or a similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficient in warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
