About the Role
The Warehouse Coordinator – Materials is responsible for managing inbound and outbound inventory operations for SBL products—including Raw Materials, packaging materials, and Point of Sale (POS) items—for an assigned warehouse. The role ensures all warehouse activities are executed safely, cost-effectively, and with maximum operational efficiency.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Materials Requirement Planning: Execute Materials Requirement Plans (MRP) to ensure optimal warehouse space utilization and operational efficiency.

Inventory Management: Conduct weekly counts, monthly/annual stock takes, and variance analyses; track inventory levels, stock aging, innovations, and Slow-Moving & Obsolete Stock (SLOBs), providing key data back to the Planning team.

Performance Management & Reviews: Lead shift-based and daily performance reviews, track KPIs, conduct site walkabouts, and escalate operational issues to the Warehouse Manager and 3PL partners for continuous improvement.

Controls & HSE Compliance: Ensure the warehouse (owned or leased) complies with Diageo’s HSE standards, optimizing lighting, signage, security, rack layout configurations, CARM, IAA, ISOs, and SFIPP frameworks.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related discipline).

Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years of working experience in an operations or inventory management role.

Technical Skills: Computer literacy with strong analytical capabilities and the ability to work under strict timelines and priorities.

Core Competencies: Strong communication skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving operational environment.
