Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Operation: Safely and carefully drive school buses and vehicles, adhering strictly to road safety rules and regulations.

Inspection & Maintenance: Regularly inspect vehicles before and during trips to ensure safety, and report technical faults or required servicing on time.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of trips, fuel usage, and spare parts by correctly filling out the logbook for every journey.

Route & Schedule Adherence: Follow directions from the Head Driver regarding routes and transport schedules, and submit written reports in case of faults or accidents.

Community Engagement: Cooperate with school management and participate in scheduled school events and community celebrations.
Requirements & Qualifications

Citizenship & Age: Tanzanian citizen aged 35 years or older.

Education & Language: Ability to read and write Kiswahili fluently (speaking and writing English is an added advantage).

Driver’s License: Valid Class C-Plain driver’s license.

Certificates: Driving certificate from a recognized college.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience driving school buses.
