Job Title: Storekeeper
Location: Hai – Kilimanjaro
Job Type: Full-Time
Key duties:
- To ensure that all raw materials received for Budget wine product are recorded under Good Receiving Note (GRN)
- To keep record of all daily purchases
- To report and ensure availability of daily report on production of Budget wine and stock on daily basis.
- Recording accounting transaction to a company system as it may be instructed by head of department (Senior Accountant).
- Examining all expenses documents submitted to accounting department and ensure that they are accurate and complete.
- Ensure compliance with various rules and financial regulations
- Assist external auditors during audit process
- Participate in physical stocktaking exercise
- Contribute to the preparation of department plans and budget by providing necessary inputs
- To prepare various reports as per the company requirements
- To perform any other duties as instructed by management or head of your department.
Qualifications
FULL PERFORMANCE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND ATTRIBUTES:
- Good knowledge of methods and practices used in ordering, storing, maintaining and issuing materials
- Good knowledge of simple arithmetic
- Familiarity with general office and purchasing practices;
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to effectively use computer applications such excel and database software
- Integrity; tact; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- Possession of Certificate or Diploma in Accounting or Equivalent
- 1 year of working experience in the purchasing, ordering, receiving, storing and/or issuing of materials, as well as accounting.
- Familiar with Quick book accounting package
