Job Overview
SBC Tanzania Limited, the official manufacturer and distributor of PepsiCo beverage brands across Tanzania, is seeking two (2) detail-oriented Store Keepers for its Mbeya Plant. The Store Keepers will be responsible for streamlining yard and stores operations, reconciling stock inventory, physically inspecting received/issued materials, tracking operational dispatches, and compiling timely material movement reports.
Key Responsibilities

Stock & Inventory Reconciliation: Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly stock positions; reconcile physical materials with digital inventory records.

Dispatch & Inventory Tracking: Monitor inventory movement and exercise strict control over materials dispatched for plant operations.

Verification & Quality Inspection: Conduct physical verification of all incoming and outgoing materials; inspect goods to identify acceptable and non-acceptable items based on quality standards.

Reporting & Administration: Prepare timely summaries and analytical reports detailing stock flow, inventory balance, and material movements.

Yard & Store Operations: Streamline day-to-day warehouse, storage yard, and inventory management processes to ensure high operational efficiency.
Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Logistics, or a related field.

Professional Certification: Certified Procurement and Supplies Professional (CPSP) qualification is an added advantage.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in inventory control, storekeeping, or warehouse management, preferably within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.

Core Competencies: Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, ability to deliver quality work under deadlines, professional communication, and capacity to work independently while collaborating seamlessly with colleagues and suppliers.
