Job Overview
SBC Tanzania Limited, the official manufacturer and distributor of PepsiCo beverage brands across Tanzania, is seeking a qualified Store Clerk to join its team at the Mbeya Plant. The position is responsible for supporting daily yard and stores operations, including supervising the loading of full beverage products, verifying and offloading empty bottles/crates, preparing gate passes, and maintaining accurate stock records.
Key Responsibilities

Stock Tracking & Reporting: Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly stock positions and compile timely inventory movement reports.

Loading Supervision & Dispatch: Receive production dispatch quantities, supervise the loading of finished beverage products onto delivery trucks, and verify accuracy against official load-out forms.

Empties Verification & Bay Allocation: Direct incoming delivery trucks to designated offloading bays, supervise the offloading of returned empty containers/crates, and verify quantities against Empties Declaration Reports.

Documentation & Gate Management: Prepare official Stock Transfer Notes, Delivery Notes, and Gate Passes; issue signed load-in reports upon verification.

Yard Operations: Perform day-to-day warehouse, storage yard, and material handling tasks to ensure smooth operational flow.
Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Diploma in Procurement, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in stores administration, yard operations, inventory control, or warehouse management (FMCG/beverage industry experience preferred).

Core Competencies: Ability to produce high-quality work within tight deadlines, strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and a professional attitude when interacting with drivers, suppliers, and internal teams.
