The School of St Jude, Sisia Campus, Moshono, Arusha, Tanzania
(1 Vacancy, Bachelor’s Degree required; CPA qualification is an added advantage)

What you’ll do

  • Oversee and manage the accounts receivable processes, ensuring that all incoming donations, grants, and other receivables are recorded accurately and on time.
  • Reconcile and maintain AR ledgers and donor records, ensuring the accurate tracking of outstanding receivables.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure that donor restrictions, grant conditions, and invoicing requirements are properly adhered to.
  • Ensure timely communication with donors and sponsors regarding overdue receivables and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Support the finance team with reporting on cash flow, funding, and donor contributions to help guide financial decision-making.

What we’re looking for

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or financial coordination, with experience managing donor or grant payments.
  • Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting principles and donor management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with external partners and internal teams.
  • A strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining financial integrity and accuracy in all aspects of accounts receivable.
