About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Senior Administrative Professional to oversee and strengthen administrative operations in Pemba. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient office management, compliance with policies and laws, and provide effective support to program and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the administrative team to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Manage office facilities, logistics, procurement, and inventory control.
- Oversee HR administration, including employee relations, staff housing, and welfare.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, local labor laws, and client requirements.
- Prepare and manage budgets for administrative functions in Pemba.
- Support senior leadership with documentation, reporting, and coordination.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment across teams and departments.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years progressive administrative experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of office management and compliance requirements in Pemba.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Fluency in English and Swahili is required.
