Job Title: Sales Supervisor

Fragrance World, with operations based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, is a leading and reputable East African fragrance manufacturing & distribution company.

We are seeking a Sales Supervisor to oversee field sales operations and coordinate the activities of the Sales Team. The role involves supervising Sales Executives and Field Sales Representatives, planning efficient sales routes for executives using company vehicles, monitoring sales performance, and ensuring that the company’s fragrance products reach targeted markets effectively.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervising and coordinating the activities of Sales Executives and Field Sales Representatives.
  • Planning and organizing daily and weekly sales routes for Sales Executives who operate company vehicles.
  • Assigning sales territories and ensuring optimal coverage of targeted markets and clients.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the performance of the sales team against set sales targets.
  • Ensuring that sales staff adhere to company sales strategies and operational procedures.
  • Reviewing daily sales reports, field visit reports, and client feedback from sales staff.
  • Supporting the sales team in identifying new business opportunities and potential clients.
  • Assisting in the development and execution of sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Conducting regular sales meetings, briefings, and performance reviews with the team.
  • Training and mentoring sales staff to improve sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
  • Ensuring proper coordination between the sales department, logistics, and management regarding orders and deliveries.
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Ensuring proper use of company vehicles and adherence to planned routes.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly sales performance reports for management.
  • Performing any other duties assigned by Management related to sales supervision and coordination.
Qualification and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales or sales supervision.
  • Experience managing field sales teams is an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and prepare performance reports.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of sales territory management and route planning.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet departmental sales targets.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
  • Good computer skills for reporting and sales monitoring.
