Sales and Marketing Manager – Alcoholic Beverages at Ando Roofing Product Ltd

Ando Roofing Product Ltd is hiring a Sales and Marketing Manager for alcoholic beverages. The company is seeking a dynamic individual to lead the growth of their premium vodka brand, Mwamba, across Tanzania and the East African region. This role focuses on driving sales, expanding market reach, and building brand awareness.

Key responsibilities for this role are divided into three areas:

• Sales Leadership (50%): Responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies for retail, on-trade, and wholesale channels.
• The manager will also monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing; manage relationships with distributors and key accounts; and consistently meet sales targets.
• Brand and Marketing (35%): The manager will be responsible for crafting brand messaging for local markets, overseeing digital marketing, influencer partnerships, and content.
• Other duties include driving the design of packaging and promotional materials, and planning brand activations, events, and tastings.
• Team and Performance (15%): This involves recruiting and managing sales representatives and brand ambassadors.
• The manager will set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team and use data to optimize strategies and improve return on investment (ROI).
• The requirements for this position include a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus. Candidates should have at least five years of experience in the sales and marketing of alcoholic beverages, specifically gin, spirits, or vodka.
• A proven track record of brand-building and sales success in East Africa, along with a strong network of distributors and key accounts, is also required.
