JOB DESCRIPTION: REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales team. As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market share, and managing key client relationships within the Arusha, Mbeya, and Mwanza territories. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a strong sales background, and a deep understanding of the Arusha market dynamics.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
Experience: Proven work experience in selling Heavy agricultural products.
Location: Arusha, Mbeya, and Mwanza

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and increase market share in the Arusha region.
  • Lead and inspire a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to maximize their potential.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry stakeholders in the Arusha market.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and recommend effective strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted sales campaigns, promotions, and product launches.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, training, and performance evaluations to ensure the team’s alignment with sales objectives.
  • Prepare comprehensive sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses for senior management.
  • Anticipate market changes, industry developments, and customer demands to adjust sales strategies accordingly.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of a Degree better in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil engineering/ Business Administration
  • Proven work experience in selling Heavy agricultural products.
  • Proven track record of success in achieving sales targets and leading a high-performing sales team.
  • Strong knowledge of the Arusha market, including key clients, competitors, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire a sales team.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills to identify opportunities, analyze data, and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
