Olotu Trading co. Ltd has recently opened a new Hotel Establishment in Arusha, this is a new and exciting hotel establishment located in Arusha, Tanzania. We offer luxurious accommodations and exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable stay in the heart of Tanzania’s safari country.

We are looking for a Female Receptionist (1post)

Females aged between 19 -25 years. fluent in English & Kiswahili.

Should Reside in Arusha.

The Role

We are searching for a professional and personable female receptionist to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and positive first impression.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure.
Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
Manage room assignments according to reservations and guest preferences.
Answer guest inquiries regarding the hotel’s amenities, services, and local attractions.
Operate the switchboard, answering phone calls and directing them appropriately.
Process guest payments, including cash, credit cards, and mobile payments.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Uphold hotel policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Hotel Management.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience working in a hospitality setting, preferably a hotel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to build rapport with guests from diverse backgrounds.
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal. Knowledge of Swahili is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
A positive and professional demeanor.
Proficient in hotel reservation systems and software (PMS) is preferred.
