The Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) is a semi-autonomous government agency of the United Republic of Tanzania, established by an Act of Parliament in 1995 and commencing operations on July 1, 1996. Its primary responsibility is to administer and collect central government taxes, as well as certain non-tax revenues.
Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA), wishes to inform the Selected Candidates that the Practical and Oral Interviews are expected to be held from 02nd May, 2025 to 14th May, 2025 and thereafter the successful candidates will be hired.
Candidates called for the interview should adhere to the following instructions;-
- Each Candidate should have an identification document for identification. Acceptable identification documents include;- National Identity Card, Resident Identification Card, Voter Identification Card, Driver’s License, Passport or Letter of Identification from Local Government Office. Identification Documents other than those specified will not be recognized.
- Candidates are required to bring their ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES starting from Birth Certificate, Form IV, VI, Diploma, Higher Diploma, Degree and continue depending on the qualifications of the Applicant.
- Candidates who submit “Testimonials”, “Provisional Results”, “Statement of results”, Form IV and Form VI result slips WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE WITH THE INTERVIEW.
- Each candidate will be responsible for their own food, transportation and accommodation;
- Each candidate should adhere to the date and place of the interview according to the relevant schedule, the Arrival Time is 7:00 AM.
- For candidates who studied outside Tanzania, ensure that their Certificates have been verified and approved by the relevant Authority (such as TCU, NACTVET or NECTA).
- For cadres that are required to be registered with their respective Professional Boards, they should bring their Original Registration Certificates and Working Licenses (for those concerned).
- Candidates are not allowed to bring mobile phones, watches or any other electronic devices to the interview area.
