Job Description

Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Tanzania Mainland’s Trunk and Regional Roads Network. Its primary functions include the management and development works, operations of the network, axle load control, the implementation of road safety, environmental measures and provision of advice on the strategic framework, policies and plans for the road sector.

The Regional Manager – TANROADS – NJOMBE on behalf of Chief Executive is looking for open minded and creative candidates

POSITION TITLE: PROCUREMENT OFFICER II (1 POST)

POSITION RELATIONSHIP

The successful candidates will report to the In-charge of Procurement Management

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

Holders of Degree in Commerce (Materials Management) or Advanced Diploma in Materials Management recognized by PSPTB,
Must be Computer literate,
Must be fluent in both written and spoken Swahili and English languages,
Must not be above 45 years of age,

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To prepare estimates and budget for office supplies
To manage incoming and outgoing supplies
To maintain receipt and issue register
To manage stock
To undertake stock taking
To manage goods for disposal
To perform such other related duties as assigned by the supervisor
