Position: Declaration Officer

Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Portanchor Solutions Limited is a Dar es Salaam-based clearing and forwarding company that specializes in customs clearance, cargo documentation, and transit shipping. They work closely with the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) and port authorities to facilitate imports and exports.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 1-2 years of experience in Customs declaration and clearance process
• Experience in using different system like (TANESW, TEPP, OAS,GCLA, RAC, CARMATEC, TMDA,
  OGA APPLICATION)
• Ability to prepare and process and submit customs declarations and all supporting import/export
  documentation accurately and within the required timeline.
• Knowledge of HS Code classification and customs valuation procedure
• High level of integrity, honest and confidentiality
• Good understanding of customs laws, regulations, and tariff classifications.
