Job Advert: Operations Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Operations Coordinator will be a key player in managing the day-to-day operations of JJ Agro Growers, ensuring the efficient flow of goods from farmers to the production facility and onward to the customers.
Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Coordinate the logistics of agricultural products from farmers to the collection centre and production facility.
- Ensure smooth operations at the collection centre, production facility, and during product dispatch to customers.
- Supervise and assign tasks to operations staff.
- Monitor inventory levels, production schedules and supply chain activities to ensure timely delivery of products.
Logistics Coordination:
- Plan and manage transportation of goods, optimizing routes and delivery schedules.
- Ensure all logistical processes comply with company standards and relevant regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all logistical activities, including transportation, storage, and distribution.
Data Management:
- Oversee the accurate recording of sales, production and farmer information.
- Ensure all operational data is up-to-date and accessible for reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with the IT department to maintain and improve the farmer management system.
Sales Support:
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to follow up on leads and generate sales.
- Support the execution of guerrilla marketing campaigns and other sales initiatives.
- Assist in building and maintaining relationships with company partners and customers.
- Track sales performance and provide regular updates to the Operations Manager.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Operations Manager and other departments to ensure alignment of operations with company goals.
- Provide regular updates and reports on operational performance and challenges.
- Assist in training and development of the operations team.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to keep operations competitive and compliant.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in operations, logistics or supply chain management.
- Experience in the agricultural or food production industry is an added advantage.

Terms of Employment:
- The successful candidate will be placed on a Fixed Term Contract.
