Job description 

Onfon Microfinance is looking for three (3) committed and results-oriented male debt collectors to join its team.

The successful candidates will be responsible for following up on overdue accounts and ensuring the timely recovery of outstanding payments.

Key responsibilities

The selected candidates will be responsible for:

• Contacting customers with overdue payments through phone calls and field visits.
• Following up and negotiating payment arrangements.
• Recovering outstanding debts in line with company policies.
• Maintaining accurate records of collections and customer interactions.
• Preparing daily and weekly collection reports.
• Working closely with the finance and credit teams.

Qualifications

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Male applicants only.
• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Previous experience in debt collection or customer service is an added advantage.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
• Honest, disciplined, and result-driven.
• Fluent in Kiswahili. English is an added advantage.
