Job Title: Office Cleaner/chef assistant
Location: Dar Es Salaam, Chalinze
Job Summary
- We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as an Office Cleaner / Chef Assistant.
- In this dual role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our office space, as well as providing assistance to our chef in meal preparation and kitchen tasks.
- This position requires attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Office Cleaning:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, including conference rooms, kitchen, and restrooms.
- Empty and sanitize waste containers regularly.
- Clean and disinfect surfaces, windows, and office equipment.
- Restock supplies, such as paper towels, soap, and toiletries.
Kitchen Assistance:
Assist the chef in food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and washing ingredients.
Set up and break down workstations before and after meal preparation.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of kitchen utensils, pots, and pans.
Assist in the plating and presentation of meals.
Follow proper food safety and hygiene practices.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively.
Practice proper food handling and storage techniques.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cleaning and maintenance, preferably in an office, restaurant or commercial environment.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
- Understanding of cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
- Atleast one year experience in a similar role.
