Career Opportunity for the Research Project: ‘Breathing for Babies (BfB) Package Ecosystem Study’
PROJECT SUMMARY
The Breathing for Babies (BfB) Package Ecosystem Study is a three-year observational cohort study using a mixed-method approach, focusing on assessing the feasibility and impact of the VAYU CPAP ecosystem across three key use cases: Neonatal Inpatient Care, Labor and Delivery, and Ambulatory Care. The study will be implemented across Temeke, Ilala, and Kinondoni districts in Dar es Salaam, involving primary healthcare facilities (Mabwepande Hospital, Kivule Hospital, Yombo Hospital) linked to regional referral hospitals (Mwananyamala, Amana, and Temeke) and supported by tertiary facilities (Muhimbili National Hospital (Upanga) and Mloganzila) in a Hub and Spokes Model. This initiative aims to generate evidence to guide national policy, planning, and scaling of CPAP services and improve the continuum of care for small and sick newborns across Tanzania.Tanzanian jobs
