Mayele na Saido Wapewa Tuzo ya Mfungaji Bora, Best Scorer of the Premier League

Fiston Mayele from Yanga and Saido Ntibazonkiza from Simba have both been awarded the best scorer of the Premier League 2022/23.

Mayele and Saido each scored 17 goals, so the Award Committee sat down and looked at how the rules dictate when players score goals, so they each get an award.

Mayele, who has gone to the duties of his national DR Congo team, his award was received by his wife who thanked them for the award.

However, Mayele has spoken while at the national team camp saying; “I thank everyone from leaders, players, fans who gave me great support.

“Even in the last match I had to play while I was given a lot of support, I wish I could be there but I am there on the duties of the national team,” said Mayele

Saido has also thanked the leadership of Geita Gold and Simba SC for helping him carry the shoe
