About TANROADS

The Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) is responsible for the maintenance and development of the trunk and regional roads network in Tanzania Mainland, as well as conducting axle load control operations. On behalf of the Chief Executive, the Regional Manager of TANROADS Dodoma is recruiting qualified staff for the road upgrading project: Kongwa Jct – Ngambi – Mpwapwa (32.0Km), LOT I (Contract No. TRD/HQ/1033/2023/24).

Educational & Professional Qualifications

• Education: Full Technician Certificate (FTC) or Diploma in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) from a recognized institution. Material Technician

• Secondary Education: National Form IV or Form VI Certificate.

• Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years cumulative experience related to road materials.

• Project Experience: Served as a Pavement/Material Technician (or equivalent capacity) for at least 3 years on road construction projects of similar magnitude and complexity.

• Technical & Personal Skills: Computer literate, proficient in spoken and written English, self-motivated, and capable of working under pressure with minimal supervision.

• Location Availability: Ready to work for considerable lengths of time in the Dodoma region where the project is based. Material Technician
