Job Overview

Braeburn Schools Tanzania Ltd is seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Facilities Supervisor (MFS) for immediate appointment at its Dar es Salaam campus. Reporting to the school leadership, the supervisor will oversee the effective management, coordination, and day-to-day execution of all maintenance, cleaning, groundskeeping, and facility operations across the campus.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise daily maintenance, janitorial/cleaning, and groundskeeping operations to ensure a clean, safe, and functional school environment.

• Coordinate and oversee all routine repairs, minor structural works, refurbishments, and preventative maintenance programs across campus facilities.

• Manage, supervise, and evaluate external contractors and technical vendors executing specialized works on site.

• Conduct regular facility inspections to identify safety hazards, maintenance needs, and operational improvements.

• Support health, safety, and security standards in compliance with school policies and statutory requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in facilities management, estate maintenance, operations supervision, or a related role.

• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Swahili.

• High computer literacy and proficiency in standard desktop applications and facility reporting tools.

• Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and contractor management skills.

• Strict commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children (must be willing to undergo child protection screening, background checks, and police clearance).
