MACHINES APPLICATION ENGINEER

INDUSTRY: AUTOMOTIVE

On behalf of our reputable client HR World Ltd is looking for a Machines Application Engineer who will provide technical support to our clients and assist our sales team with demonstrations and the whole aftersales handling for end customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES;

• Testing, commissioning, and delivering of machines.
• Provide clients with technical support as needed and relay information to our product support team for ongoing maintenance requirements.
• Optimize field machine utilization for clients through refresher training and introducing good practices on how to operate machines.
• Contribute to sales presentations and tender specifications.
• Advocating the selling points and technological advancement on Caterpillar machines.
• To support sales team for any technical issues and alert them on new technology or specific customer technical requirement.
• To provide vital information that gives sales lead.
• Act as consultant in supporting customer and our large clients on technical issues.
• Follow up on customer complaints related with product performance.
• Carry out basic onsite customer training on operation, maintenance and basic trouble shooting.
• Ensure all company property under Application Engineer’s custody are kept in good condition and report any defect immediately as when occurs.

QUALIFICATIONS;

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in related field excluding field attachment and internships.
• Basic product knowledge, operations and commissioning of CAT products.
• High level of understanding planning, customer service and business operation practices.
• Attention to details, Good IT knowledge, communication, and negotiation skills.
