Job Role

Perform, with minimal supervision, highly complex activities related to the planning of logistics and the distribution of products, ensuring the implementation of best practices.

Job Responsibilities

Assist in the selection of carriers/suppliers and keep all appropriate documentation and service level agreements.
Coordinating and liaising with the clearing agents and prepare supporting documents required for clearance in addition to day-to-day related activities in accordance with the objectives, policies, and procedures
Ensure IT systems in place are accurate and maintained
Ensure compliance with import, export, customs regulations in addition to legal, health and safety requirements.
Implement all processes to agreed standards and targets and support continuous improvement initiatives and identify areas of improvement
Lead & manage the full cycle of returnable cases in terms of planning, count, lead time, export shipping with related documentations according to country/customer requirements
Manage the end-to-end logistics part of the business while following up internal & external to arrange needed administration/documents to concerned parties and ensure its compliance with Egypt Customs regulations and exemption lists requirements.
Participate in regular operation/planning reviews.
Plan and co-ordinate logistics operations liaising with source plant, internal stakeholders, suppliers, customer, logistics providers and transportation companies.

Required Skills & Experience

Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports.
Support in company lean vision through optimizing containerization & leveling dock operations.
Track shipments & maintain performance metrics and reports in order to provide meaningful logistics information to be used as dashboards for metric visibility, measuring and evaluating performance and communication.
Work cross-functionally to develop logistics schedules and reports to ensure leveling of dock capacity and communicate updates and any concerns to relevant parties.

Education

Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain or Relevant field of study preferred

Perform Gap Analysis
