Responsibilities
Support smartphones bundling and upgrade programs uptake
- Support the execution of smartphones programs.
- Execute structured upgrade pathways to drive adoption.
- Roll out pilot programs, measure uptake, and refine GTM before scaling nationally.
- Ensure smooth supply chain and stock availability at distributor and retail points.
- Develop and manage Airtel smartphones sales infrastructure and drive sales volume uptake
Partner with OEMs and retailers for joint initiatives
- Collaborates with marketing to drive smartphones partnership initiatives across channels.
- Align incentives across partners, Airtel, and retailer salesforce to drive execution.
- Finding channels for device selling outlets.
- Establish quarterly business reviews with partners and key retail partners.
Track program KPIs and customer feedback
- Develop dashboards for real-time tracking of channels sales performance.
- Gather structured customer feedback via surveys, NPS, and call-center insights.
- Analyze data to identify gaps (pricing, availability, customer experience).
- Share insights with leadership partners to adjust strategies quickly.
- Drive sales related initiatives targeting different customers segments and markets
Innovate on customer acquisition and retention strategies.
- Introducing device financing and other Airtel devices to the sales channels.
- Drive digital-first onboarding journeys (app-based bundling, eKYC).
- Execute loyalty-based upgrade schemes to retain channel customers.
- Continuously benchmark against competitor programs and global best practices.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com)
- Experience with smartphone ecosystems and partnerships
- Strong commercial acumen and execution capability
Relevant Experience (Type of experience and minimum number of years)
- 5+ years in telecom, device management, or product marketing
- Experience in Telecom industry is a must
Other requirements (Behavioral etc.)
- Ability to drive execution with focus, urgency, and accountability to deliver measurable outcomes
- Effectively and efficiently prioritizes customer needs and ensures fairness, transparency, and satisfaction
- Ability to build strong relationships across teams and partners communicates and influences effectively
