While the national team of Tanzania, known as Taifa Stars, is preparing for the AFCON 2024 qualification game, the head coach has made clear the long-awaited list of players who will participate in the intense training camp.

The squad is a mix of experienced players and new faces, with a few making their national debut. In addition to the first players, the coach has started a team of highly talented young people while realizing the importance of developing the future of Tanzanian football.

The national soccer team (Taifa Stars) is today playing against Algeria in the last game to qualify for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations finals.

The group F game will be held at the 19 May 1956 stadium located in the city of Annaba in the North East of Algeria, with the Stars having to win to ensure their qualification.

Niger will host Uganda in the other game of the group at the stadium in Marrakech, Morocco.

Algeria leads group F with 15 points followed by Tanzania with 7 points, Uganda with 4 points while Niger in last place has 2 points.

The synergy that unites the players, experienced and young, is the catalyst for raising the Tanzanian national team to a high position and respect on the big stage of international football. With hopes and expectations rising, Taifa joins forces with Taifa Stars, with high hopes that this gathering of talents will write their names in football history.
