Job Title: HR Intern
Duration: 6 months
Location: Nairobi
Gross Salary: Kshs 30k
Our client is seeking a motivated HR Intern to join their team for a 6-month internship.
This position offers hands-on experience in various aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and HR administration.
The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in recruitment activities such as job posting, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing documentation and conducting orientation sessions.
Maintain employee records and HR databases ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Assist in organizing and coordinating training sessions or events.
Support employee relations activities by drafting communications, coordinating meetings, and handling employee inquiries.
Assist in HR projects as assigned, which may include policy development, performance management, or HR analytics.
Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree graduate in Human Resources Management.
Six (6) months to 1 year experience in HR.
Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
