About the Role
Ramada Hotel is looking for a proactive and people-focused HR Coordinator to collaborate closely with our human resources strategy. You will play a key role in recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee assistance, ensuring our team members are engaged and happy, and working in line with company policies and Tanzanian labour law.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the HR Manager in day-to-day HR operations and all HR-related departments.
- Assist in advertising, interviewing, and selecting high-quality talent.
- Schedule and plan employee-related activities, and ensure a positive work environment.
- Support performance reviews and skill development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate HR records and handle payroll coordination.
- Ensure compliance with Tanzanian labour laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Assist with disciplinary and grievance processes and disciplinary actions.
- Plan staff engagement activities and welfare programs.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in HR within the hospitality or service industry.
- Strong knowledge of Tanzanian labour law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office; HRIS experience is an advantage.
- A team player who can maintain confidentiality and discretion.
