Position Overview
Natural Selection Mining Limited is recruiting a detail-oriented Tanzanian graduate to join its HR & Administration Department as an HR Assistant – Payroll. This entry-level role focuses on supporting attendance tracking, leave administration, numerical calculations for payroll processing, maintaining confidential compensation records, and preparing routine personnel cost analyses.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Time, Attendance & Leave Management:

Monitor and compile daily employee attendance, shift records, and overtime tracking.

Maintain up-to-date leave balances, processing annual, sick, and compassionate leave requests.

Payroll Operations & Salary Documentation:
-
Assist in performing monthly payroll calculations and updating payroll master data.

Maintain accurate, confidential employee salary files and compensation records.

Assist with tracking statutory deductions and payroll-related compliance documentation.

Reporting & Administrative Support:

Prepare routine personnel cost summaries, reports, and data breakdowns using MS Excel.

Ensure strict confidentiality and data security regarding all payroll, compensation, and personal information.

General Requirements (Graduate Entry Level)

Nationality: Must be a Tanzanian national.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Open to recent graduates. Full-time work experience is not required (relevant internship experience is an advantage).

Technical & Numerical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, along with competency in Word and PowerPoint. High numerical aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.

Communication & Ethics: Good spoken and written English, demonstrated discretion, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Personal Traits: Strong learning agility, self-discipline, and a long-term commitment to developing a career in HR or payroll administration.

Added Advantages: Exposure to the mining sector or knowledge of the Chinese language (not required).
