Job Overview

CCBRT is seeking dynamic Health Volunteer Assistant Nursing Officers to join its Nursing Department across allocated clinical areas, including the Outpatient Department (OPD), Inpatient Department (IPD), and Operating Theatre Department (OTD). The role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care, supporting doctors during examinations and procedures, and ensuring patient dignity and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients before consultations, clinic visits, or theatre procedures.

• Assist doctors during patient examinations and surgical procedures.

• Provide bilingual translation (Swahili to English and English to Swahili) between medical staff and patients when required.

• Communicate medical conditions to patients and provide health counseling and support.

• Perform routine clinical nursing procedures, manage clinical patient flow, and maintain accurate patient records.

• Ensure strict adherence to quality, safety, and infection control standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery.

• Active registration and a valid operating license from the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council (TNMC).

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.

• Fluency in English and Swahili with strong communication skills.

• Flexible, proactive attitude with strong multitasking capabilities and willingness to learn.
