Golden Coach LTD Vacancy | Storeskeeper

Golden Coach Ltd, a leadingtransport company based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, is seeking a diligent and
organized individual to join our team as a Storeskeeper.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our store, overseeing inventory, and
maintaining accurate records of goods in and out.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain organized and efficient storage of goods within the company’s premises.
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Issue goods as per requisitions and maintain proper documentation.
• Regularly update inventory records to reflect stock levels accurately.
• Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile physical inventory with records.
• Monitor stock levels and initiate orders to replenish supplies as needed.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely deliveries and returns.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding store management and inventory control.
• Keep the store area clean, safe, and orderly at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Storeskeeper or similar role, preferably in a transport or logistics company.
• Knowledge of inventory management principles and procedures.
• Familiarity with relevant  software for inventory tracking and record-keeping.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in supply chain management or logistics
  will be a plus.
