Job Title: Finance and Administration Manager

Location: Tanzania

Reports to: General Manager

Compensation: Competitive Package

Contract Type: 2 years contract with a 3-month trial period

General Description:

The Finance and Administration Manager will oversee the financial and administrative operations of the company. This role includes managing financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, procurement, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The position requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily finance business operations.
• Implement the strategic functions of the business to drive growth.
• Develop and implement internal controls to drive sustainability and cost control.
• Train low-level managers and staff in finance and administration, including HR.
• Create and manage the budget function.
• Prepare management and finance reports with analysis of performance and productivity to support decision-making and improve business performance.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a robust accounting system.
• Generate reports and presentations to shareholders that assist in decision-making.
• Supervise purchase management.
• Handle inventory and inventory management.
• Oversee the audit function and ensure TRA compliance.
• Manage end-of-year financial statements.
• Manage the administration function of the business.

Finance Manager Requirements:

• ACCA Qualification with 4 years of post-qualification experience.
• Degree in Business Management or a Master’s in Business Administration.
• 5 years of related experience with at least 3 years at a senior level in finance.
• Good knowledge of different business functions.
• Experience in finance from the oil and gas sector, manufacturing industry, or sales and marketing organization is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Highly organized with a strong work ethic.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Proactive nature.

HSSEQ Responsibilities:

• Follow and participate in the company HSSEQ policy.
• Understand and implement the company safety policy within the administrative team.
