WHO WE ARE

The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project is a Midstream development located across Uganda and Tanzania that includes a nearshore Marine Storage and Export Terminal (MST). Once completed, the EACOP Company will operate the East African Crude Oil Pipeline, a 1443 km long electrically heated crude oil export pipeline that transports oil from Kabaale – Hoima in Uganda to the Chongoleani Peninsula near Tanga Port in Tanzania for crude export to the international markets.

JOB DIMENSIONS/ GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

As Campaign Engineer for EACOP, you will manage campaign activities in 4 perimeters. This means you will be able to shape and develop a central role with great influence in safe, timely, and effective execution of campaign activities. This is with the possibility to continuously use and develop your competencies in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of Campaign activity reporting, sub-contractor efficiency, and work preparation on future campaign activities. You will get to use your knowledge and experience applying a range of techniques when developing the Campaign Model, taking into consideration the local market conditions, partial or full field shutdown opportunities, the mono or multi metier, various possible technical approaches, and the various resources available or to develop, etc.

As Fabric Maintenance Engineer, you will manage fabric maintenance contractors who will provide various services as scaffolding, insulation removal and installation, piping repair, routine painting, cleaning assistance to operation, rope access, and civil works.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Contributes to HSE performance in line with EACOP objectives.
Integrates into an execution plan the “campaign-able” activities prepared by Maintenance, Inspection Services, Engineering & Construction.
Ensures the Work Packs, Procedures, Permits to Works, Risk Assessments, and Toolbox Talks are correctly drafted by the Support Entities.
Ensures the main resources of the scopes are provided in time by the Support Entities.
Ensures the Isolations, Inhibitions, Flushing, Inerting various scopes are provided.
Provides input for the Campaign various Planning and Scheduling.
Provides an Execution Plan and source the supporting resources (e.g. vessels, scaffolding, HSE supervision).
Prepares and executes the onboarding process of the various workforces prior to the execution phases to commence.
Executes the Campaign safely and efficiently.
Manages related service contracts to improve campaign efficiency.
Contributes to the 2-Year visions of planned campaigns and the 90-day planning.
Influences the 90-day planning.
Influences the 5-week planning.
Issues T-REX.
Interfaces regarding activity planning with other entities.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Academic Qualifications:

Bachelor level or similar.
Proficiency in oral and written English.
Good knowledge of CMIMS (Computerized Maintenance & Inspection Management System).
ERB Registration as a Professional Engineer.

Experience Required:

10-15 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry or a high potential.
Site multi-sites and multidiscipline planning preparation or activity management experience.
Maintenance Contract management.
Full field/Industrial site shut down experience.
Primavera good experience.
