Job Overview

POSITION: ACCOUNTANT – 1

Description: We are looking for a qualified experienced accountant to drive our business forward.

Know how to use QuickBooks
He should know how to use tall
Experience with other accounting packages
Developing budgets and financial plans and monitoring all expenditures against set budget
Managing and updating transaction including accounts payable and accounts receivable
Processing cheque. deposit and withdrawal transactions and periodic bank reconciliation
Verifying invoices from vendors, preparing vendors payments and booking of receivables
Ensuring the company complies with financial regulations, tax laws and regulations
Preparing and filing tax returns e.g., Value Added Tax (VAT) and With Holding Tax
Preparing financial statements e.g., Balance Sheets, Trial Balance, Cash Flow Statements
Filing and maintaining copies of all invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and bank slips

Education:

Diploma or degree in accounting, finance or related field

And any other duties as may be assigned.
